Gina Ameci, Esq. of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, P.C. will present various hypothetical situations that illustrate common problems confronting employers involving policies, documentation for the FMLA and ADA as well as accommodation, discipline and termination issues.

10:15 – 11:30 AM  Ripped From the Headlines – What Employers Can (and Should) Learn from the Recent Harassment Allegations Making the News

Linda Hollinshead, Esq. of Duane Morris, LLP will discuss the recent onslaught of sexual harassment scandals and how employers can take steps to prevent such misconduct, address complaints and remedy inappropriate behavior. She will also review areas where employers are particularly vulnerable to harassment claims and discuss the EEOC’s renewed interest in this area and recommend proactive measures that employers can take to establish and enforce an effective complaint procedure.
