Employee Assistance Program

The EAP provided by Health Advocate is designed to help Health and Workers’ Compensation Trust members lead a happier and more productive life at home and at work.  Enrollees and their covered dependents are eligible for up to five (5) free sessions.  Call (877) 240-6863 for confidential access to a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Critical Incident Management/Disruptive Event

Critical incident management is a resource to help our member entities manage disruptive events including grief (either on or off the job; suicide, medical incidents, etc.), workplace accidents, violence in the workplace, natural disasters, etc.  It includes a range of supportive interventions designed to enhance a person’s natural resilience, facilitating individual and workgroup return-to-work/return-to-functioning.
HR/Management – if you need immediate assistance with a grief/critical incident or a disruptive event, please contact Health Advocate’s licensed EAP Care Managers 877-240-6863 (this line is answered 24/7).
Note: If you need to cancel or change a scheduled counselor DEM response, please call 877-240-6863 to avoid late notification fees.
