In partnership with the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors (PSATS), the Delaware Valley Trusts is pleased to offer 20 full scholarships (limit two scholarships per member entity) for this course.

Description:  State and federal regulations require every employer who has CDL employees driving vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating or operating weight of more than 26,001 pounds used on public roads to participate in a drug and alcohol testing program. These same regulations also require that such employers train all personnel who supervisor employees with CDLs in handling suspected on-the-job drug or alcohol use. This workshop addresses these federal requirements by providing supervisory personnel with a working understanding of the federal CDL regulations, including on-the-job probable cause procedures. In addition to those supervisory personnel required to attend, all CDL employees should attend this workshop to ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding this important public safety training. Eligible for 2 PMGA credits.

Cost: $35/PSATS members and $45/Non-PSATS members. You must register directly with PSATS (see below).

How to Claim a Delaware Valley Trusts Scholarship:

1) Workers’ Comp Trust (DVWCT) and Property & Liability Trust (DVPLT) members should first contact the Trust to confirm availability and reserve your scholarship by emailing Carol Bigham at cbigham@dvtrusts.com or calling (267) 803-5720.

2) Next, register directly with PSATS by clicking here or visit at www.psats.org and click “Training”.

3) After completing the course, forward proof of completion and payment to cbigham@dvtrusts.com or fax (267) 803-5770.

4) Upon approval, Trusts will issue a reimbursement check for the value of the scholarship (up to two per member entity).
