In partnership with the Pennsylvania State Association of Boroughs, the Delaware Valley Property & Liability Trust (DVPLT) is pleased to offer up to 20 full scholarships (limit two scholarships per member entity) for the following course:

2022 Newly Elected Municipal Officials Boot Camp
Friday, February 4 and Saturday, February 5, 2022 (2 days)
9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Location:  Delaware Valley Trusts, 719 Dresher Road, Horsham, PA

Description:  This is an introductory course designed for newly elected officials and a refresher course for experienced elected officials. It provides an overview of the basics – the things you need to know right now – and helps you look at the big picture of local government in your community. Take home a wealth of resources to use in the coming year by networking and sharing information with your peers.

The cost to attend is $150/PSAB members and $200/non-PSAB members. You must register directly with PSAB (see below).

This course is open to all newly elected borough and township officials. The instructors come from all municipal governments and the class references all municipal codes.

How to Claim a DVPLT Scholarship:

1. Property & Liability Trust (DVPLT) members should first contact the Trust to confirm availability and reserve your scholarship by emailing cbigham@dvtrusts.com or calling 267-803-5720.
2. Register directly with PSAB by visiting training.boroughs.org or call Terri at 800-232-7722, Ext. 1042.
3. After completing the course, forward proof of completion and payment to cbigham@dvtrusts.com.
4. Upon approval, the Trusts will issue a reimbursement check for the value of the scholarship (up to two per member entity).
