Provision of a two-hour course in accordance with OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.147 for employees who work on or removes guards from equipment or machinery that has hazardous energy, such as electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or others, which require the control the energy source(s) utilizing locks and tags. This course covers the different types of potentially hazardous energy and methods and procedures to control them. Upon successful demonstration of basic procedures, each student will receive an “authorized” person certificate. This training does qualify for credits for those with a DEP Certification.
