Miovision is one of the latest traffic detection systems the provides real-time data and helps improve road safety. When a loss occurs to one or more of your traffic signals, Delaware Valley Trusts is here to help you get that signal back up and running as quickly as possible. However, we can only pay for the same equipment that was on the signal prior to the loss. Some contractors are automatically installing Miovision as part of the repairs. While that is great from a traffic safety perspective, it is not reimbursable from the Trust, and you could be stuck holding an unexpected bill. By reporting a claim timely to DVT, we can make sure that the estimate does not include any non-reimbursable items, including Miovision. It is also important that you also communicate this information to the selected contractor that is completing the repairs.
