Staff Update: Welcome Marc Medori, Risk Control Department

The Trusts Risk Control team is proud to announce the addition of public safety and prevention professional Marc Medori to their team. Early in his career, Marc held various positions in Emergency Medical Services and the Fire Service including as a flight paramedic for Hahnemann University Hospital, Emergency Trauma Center Paramedic for Abington Hospital, Firefighter/Paramedic for Horsham Fire Co. No. 1, and Director of Operations for Nazareth Ambulance Corps. Marc has a B.S. in Occupational Safety and Health/Fire Science. Prior to joining Delaware Valley Trusts, Marc served as the Senior Environment, Health and Safety Coordinator for Skanska USA Building, Inc. – a large multi-national construction and development company.  Marc is married, has 3 sons, and enjoys the outdoors, cooking, and music as few of his interests.

Marc’s addition to the team comes at a strategic time, as after almost 22 years at the helm of DVT’s Risk Control Department, Peter Erndwein has shared his plans to retire in April 2026. Peter has offered advance notice of this upcoming milestone to ensure a seamless transition of his members to a new lead Risk Control Consultant. A succession plan for his department leadership duties has also been implemented. This transition will take place gradually over the 2025 survey cycle scheduled to begin in May and run into December.  Peter will utilize routine service visits to familiarize the replacement lead with member staff, risk control characteristics, and priorities of each member.
