The Delaware Valley Trusts invite all DVPLT and DVWCT member entities to showcase their creativity and commitment to safety by participating in the 2025 Risk Management Innovation Award program! This annual award celebrates inventive solutions that address public entity risk management challenges. The goal is always the same: to reduce employee injuries and illnesses, prevent property or liability losses, and enhance employee health and wellness.
Members may nominate themselves or others by submitting the official nomination form. Winners are selected in three categories:
- Innovation: Best use of new technology or equipment to solve a risk management concern.
- Teamwork: Outstanding collaboration to overcome a significant challenge.
- Turnaround: Notable improvement in risk management performance through innovation.
Each winner receives an engraved plaque, a catered lunch for their team, and a $1,000 grant to support their project. Past winners have introduced green warning lights for public works trucks (Whitemarsh Township, our 2025 recipient, pictured above), developed damage-resistant vehicle camera mounts, and created rapid assessment tools for sewer lines, proving that great ideas come in all shapes and sizes.
Member participation is vital to the success of this program. If you have an innovation that has made a difference in your organization, now is the time to share it!
