In partnership with the Pennsylvania State Association of Boroughs (PSAB), the Delaware Valley Trusts is pleased to offer 10 full scholarships (limit two scholarships per member entity) for Public Works Management.

Date: Friday, May 1, 2020          Time: 9:00 am to 3:30 pm          Location: Delaware Valley Trusts, 719 Dresher Road, Horsham PA

This full day class will review the duties and responsibilities of the public works director who typically plans, organizes, directs, coordinates and evaluates the activities of the public works, engineering, public works maintenance, and solid waste departments. Learn tips for preparing performance evaluations for each department and implementing capital improvement, asset management and long range infrastructure development plans. Discussions will include updates on winter maintenance operations, CDL regulations, safety programs, and incident and risk management programs.

Cost:  $135 members & $185 non-members. You must register directly with PSAB (see below).

How to Claim a Delaware Valley Trusts Scholarship:

1) Property & Liability Trust (DVPLT) members should first contact the Trust to confirm availability and reserve your scholarship by emailing Carol Bigham at cbigham@dvtrusts.com or calling (267) 803-5720.

2) Next, register directly with PSAB by clicking here or visit at www.training.boroughs.org or call Terri at 800-232-7722, Ext. 1042.

3) After completing the course, forward proof of completion and payment to cbigham@dvtrusts.com or fax (267) 803-5770.

4) Upon approval, Trusts will issue a reimbursement check for the value of the scholarship (up to two per member entity).
