Open to DVWCT and DVPLT members at no cost.

This training satisfies the requirements of Penn DOT Pub. 408, Sec. 901 related to minimum competencies for work zone flaggers and other road workers. Topics covered include fundamentals of work zone traffic control, project planning, personal protective equipment, placement of traffic control devices, use of shadow vehicles and proper flagging techniques.  Attendees who pass the final exam receive a certified flagger wallet card valid for three years.

This course is approved for 3 Pa. DEP water/wastewater operator contact hours.
