Open to DVWCT and DVPLT members at no cost.

This 3-hour safety course is designed to give attendees an understanding of what is a confined space, hazards that can be associated with confined spaces and how to identify them, procedures for protecting yourself and others from confined space hazards, and procedures for non-entry rescue. The course also includes a demonstration of atmospheric testing equipment and a practical mock entry.

This course is approved for three (3) Pa. DEP water/wastewater operator contact hours.
